A partner at a Halifax tech company, KARV Data Consulting Ltd, will unveil an artificial intelligence (AI) application in psychiatry, to psychiatrists at the 2019 Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association (GPPA) Summer CME Meeting, held at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Florida, August 9-11, 2019. This AI psychiatry application attempts to revolutionize the clinical practice of psychiatry by assisting doctors with psychiatric diagnosis, risk assessment, and treatment planning. The medical-tech team at KARV is headed by Dr. Carlo Carandang, who has vast experience in clinical psychiatry and is also a data scientist and software developer.
In addition to showcasing KARV’s AI psychiatry application, Carandang will speak at the Florida conference, on the topic of AI and Big Data in Psychiatry. Carandang is honored to be recognized as an international expert on Big Data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in psychiatry.
